APPENDIX B TO THE RULES OF HEATHFIELD AGRICULTURAL SHOW
RULES & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY IN HORSE CLASSES
In the event of Show cancelation fees will be refunded less 10% to cover administration costs.
EXHIBITORS MUST HAVE PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE COVER TO BE ABLE TO EXHIBIT HORSES AT THE HEATHFIELD AGRICULTURAL SHOW.
This is a qualifying show for the ROYAL INTERNATIONAL HORSE SHOW 2024. The two highest placed horses in the Lightweight, Middleweight, Heavyweight and Small Hunter Classes will qualify to enter at the RIHS. No horse lower than second will qualify. All regulations applicable to HOYS qualifiers will apply also to RIHS qualifiers.
Amateur ridden hunter class is a qualifying class for ROYAL INTERNATION HORSE SHOW 2024. The two highest placed smalls, the two highest placed lightweights, the two highest placed middleweights and the two highest placed heavyweights will qualify.
All entries in Classes 179 - 182 & 183 must be on Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain 2024 Show Hunter Register. (Registration Numbers to be shown on Entry Forms and owners and riders must be full members of Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain).
Day ticket = £46 (this entitles competitors to compete at a maximum of 2 shows in the year – at £46 per show it covers rider and owner membership together with horse registration for that show.
Classes 179 - 183 are Judged under the 2024 Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain Rules.
The Horse Trust Healthiest Body Condition Awards are an important welfare initiative designed to raise awareness of equine obesity. These classes will be judged by a representative from Cliffe Equine who will award a rosette in recognition of the healthiest in the class. 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed competitors in classes will qualify for the UK Ponies & Horses Ridden Hunter Gold Medal Series (Affiliation No. 24/A18/8323) at the UK Ponies & Horses Spring Classic 2024 to take place at Onley Equestrian Centre. Competitors are not required to become members of UK Ponies & Horses to compete at the Spring Classic. Qualification Cards are not handed out in the ring; however, results can be verified by the Office.
The two highest placed exhibits not already qualified in classes 179 - 182 will qualify for the Equifest Ridden Hunter Final to be held at Arena UK, Grantham on 1st - 4th August 2024.
