All competition schedules will be available in the new year.

Why enter?

Be part of this award winning one day Show. Our aim is to keep the tradition of agricultural shows alive, with our primary focus on livestock, equine and agricultural education. Every year our committees review the competition schedules and try to add something new to ensure everyone can participate.

Our entry fees are very competitive and prize money is awarded on the day. Come and join us, our visitors love this section of the Show.

Cattle championships

Our Cattle schedule includes Holstein UK, Channel Island, Ayrshire and Any Other Dairy Breeds in our dairy section. The comprehensive beef section includes Dexter, Sussex, Any Other Pedigree Beef, Continental Pedigree Beef, Commercial Beef and new for 2026, are Beef Shorthorn classes. Young handler classes will be held in both Dairy and Beef from ages 6yrs to 21yrs.

Horse competitions

The horse section of the Show is well known for its high-quality classes. New classes are added every year and with five showing rings operating for most of the day, there is always something for every equestrian lover.

Sheep championships

The sheep section of the Show is very well supported. Classes include Texel, Southdown, AOPB British Shortwool, AOPB Longwool, Hill and Heath, Any Other Continental Breed, and Wool on Hoof. Young handler classes are held from 6yrs to 16yrs.

Pig championships

The pig schedule and entries grow every year. The schedule includes All Pig Breeds, Open Class, Commercial Pigs and British Kunekune classes. Young handler classes are held from 4yrs to 12yrs – an absolute joy to watch!
