The last bus leaves the Green Gate entrance at 5.30pm. Are there any cash points on the showground? Cash is available from the cash kiosk located at the top of the Main Ring. Are there any baby changing facilities? Baby changing facilities are available at the far end of the green shed toilet block, in the centre of the showground. Where do you keep lost property? Lost property is held at the Blue Gate Office or the Secretary’s Office behind the Members’ marquee on Show Day. Enquiries after Show Day should be made to the Show Coordinator: secretary@heathfieldshow.org or 07305 397570. What accessible facilities are there? Accessible toilets are located at the far end of the green shed toilet block in the centre of the showground, with further accessible toilets situated near the fairground by Blue Gate and by the hedge at the top end of the Main Ring. Accessible Parking: There is forward parking reserved in both car parks for blue badge holders, on a first come first serve basis. On application to the Membership Secretary, there are limited parking spaces that can be booked on the showground. This must be applied for in advance of Show Day and with Blue Badge evidence. Entry Ticket: Visitors with a disability pay full price entry to the Show, and their essential carer enters free. Wheelchairs, mobility scooters etc: Users of wheelchairs, mobility scooters and other walking aids enter the showground at their own risk and should be aware that this is a green field site, used as agricultural fields for cattle and sheep for 340 days of the year, therefore the ground under foot is uneven. Manoeuvring around the showground using these aids, even in good dry weather, is not recommended. We install a limited amount of temporary roadway, more for the benefit of vehicle access than ease of walking. Are dogs allowed on the showground? Well behaved dogs are welcome on the showground but must be kept on a short fixed-length lead (retractable leads are unacceptable) at all times. Dogs are not permitted in any of the livestock tents. In warm weather, please bring water for your dog. Do not leave dogs in the car; they will be liberated by our Stewards – with force if necessary. What eating facilities are on the showground? Food outlets are located in the Food & Beverage Marquee, the Farmers’ Market and the Picnic Area. Additionally, there are a great selection of food concession outlets across the showground.
