APPENDIX B TO THE RULES OF HEATHFIELD AGRICULTURAL SHOW
RULES & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY IN HORSE CLASSES
In the event of Show cancelation fees will be refunded less 10% to cover administration costs.
EXHIBITORS MUST HAVE PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE COVER TO BE ABLE TO EXHIBIT HORSES AT THE HEATHFIELD AGRICULTURAL SHOW.
Within 30 mile radius of the Showground.
Working Hunter Rules:
Correct showing attire to be worn by all riders (beige jodhpurs, tweed jacket, competition shirt and stock/tie)
Body protectors recommended for jumping phase but not compulsory, correct riding boots & hat to standard must be worn.
Horses to be shown true to type (eg plaited, hogged or natural state depending on horse type)
Horses can wear boots for the jumping phase but to be removed for the show phase, martingales are ok to wear for both phases.
First refusal 15 penalties, second refusal 20 penalties, third refusal elimination, jump knock down 10 penalties, fall of horse or rider elimination. Horses will NOT be ridden by the Judge. Horses may be stripped for conformation at the discretion of the Judge and time permitting. An individual show may be required at the discretion of the Judge.
Best Turned Out Rosette will be awarded in each class - to be decided by the Judge
Class 158 and 159 will be amalgamated if insufficient entries.
Qualifier for the Sunshine Tour Championships. 1st - 4th place qualify and qualification cannot go down the line. To be held at the All England Showground, Hickstead 12th - 15th September 2024.
