Free entry for children in 2015

The Heathfield & District Agricultural Show Society is proud to announce that, for the 2015 Show, children will be able to attend free of charge when accompanied by a full paying adult. Tickets for adults will be available on line from 1st April and local outlets from 1st May. Show Chairman, Graham Mosey, announced "Children are a very important part of our rural community. It is important that they are educated in the ways of our rural neighbourhood. Enabling them to attend the Show free of charge not only allows them to have fun but also to experience, at first hand, the rural traditions that our Show is so proud to represent."

The Kangaroo Kids

World class Australian quad bike stuntman Matt Coulter, aka The Kangaroo Kid, and his son Sam, are looking forward to saying “G’Day” to thousands of visitors at the 2015 Heathfield Show.
Matt has regularly appeared on the ‘Guinness World Record’, ‘You Bet’ and ‘Don’t Try This At Home’ television shows and he has set various world records for Quad jumping and has also jumped a flying plane on two separate occasions, once in the UK and the other in Las Vegas.

The Heathfield Show has long had a reputation for the size and quality of its showing classes. The Schedule of competitions has been released and the closing date for entries is on 1st April 2015 for livestock classes and 20th April 2015 for horse classes.

The Sheep Show

The New Zealand style team of presenters educate and entertain , with their fantastic sheep all over the country.
Nobby the Norfolk Horn stands centre stage while others are introduced to their podiums. We learn about each breeds attributes and how wool from the sheep's back becomes a jumper to wear. The shearing demonstration is well commentated and has the audience captivated.

Every year the Heathfield Show hosts a Flower Show. A theme is set and this competitors are asked to enter arrangements under various. There are classes for professionals and novices, men and women and also children.
